- Darkangel
- Darkangel is 23 years old and currently a full-time advanced standing Social Work graduate student working on a Master’s of Social Work (MSW) degree. She is originally from Arkansas and moved to Tennessee to pursue her educational and career goals. She attended law school for a short time on a full scholarship, but decided to withdraw and pursue a career in Social Work instead. Her Social Work experience includes primarily clinical work with at-risk teens and young children with severe behavioral issues. As a Social Work graduate student, she chose to specialize in macro practice focusing on groups, communities, agencies, organizations, and policy. Darkangel is currently an intern at an agency that serves a broad range of people including the economically disadvantaged, disabled, and uninsured individuals and families. The agency also contracts services with other agencies for the benefit of the client population and evaluates the effectiveness of its programs and policies, modifies, and implements any changes necessary internally. After graduation, Darkangel plans to work in management at an agency that serves either expectant mothers, adopted/foster children, or at-risk teens.
